This exclusive destination resort is located on 16 acres of beachfront on the island of Roatan, and is part of the adjacent 440 acre golf course development. The entire infrastructure is integrated into the site via small independent structures to minimize environmental impact, and large cisterns are built under the main buildings to collect water for the dry season. All water heating and landscape lighting is generated by solar energy. Local materials and building techniques have been used throughout the design. In addition, the gardens are designed to provide most of the fruits, vegetables, and herbs served at the resort's restaurant.
