Designed to be the first soft lunch-kits in the market, these products were designed in the early 80’s using high technology from the space program to provide a safe, light, durable, and efficient lunch-kit. The kits were designed with different interior layouts and color combinations for different markets ranging from school children to field and office workers. a proprietary insulating system and fabric layering was developed to achieve the required specifications. These products have been a very successful part of the Igloo product line. Many user group workshops and human factors analysis were conducted to arrive to the final production designs.
